First we must clarify a common misconception.
The term “accreditation” is applied to a program, while the term “certification” is applied to an individual.
To follow though with this theme, the The Life Coach Certification Group™ program is accredited through the International Coach Federation (ICF) as “Approved Coach Specific Training Hours.”
Graduates of an approved program become a certified coach. Accreditation assures you, the prospective student, that the program has been assessed and reviewed for its inclusive content of the eleven core competencies and ethical standards as recognized and adopted by most world-wide coaching organizations.
Graduation from an ICF accredited program may not be necessary for the life coach to begin a successful professional practice, however, it is important to maintain a growing business. Clients are getting more savey. They understand that coaches should be certified and are looking for certified, qualified coaches to assist them.
An ICF accredited program is considered the gold standard, the quality of the program is carefully scrutinized on an ongoing basis.
Although many Coaches prefer to keep their options open, a great many coaches do choose to focus on a particular niche’ in the marketplace. There are two good reasons to do this. It is more likely that a coach will enjoy their daily work if they are coaching in a specific topic that they appreciate assisting clients with. It is easier to reach a specific audience with your branding and advertising, than putting out generalized statements that do not speak specifically to an individual's concerns or needs.
Business, Executive, Motivational, Wellness, Relationship, Career, Confidence, Self-Esteem, and Spirituality are just a few areas of specialty that we can mention here. The list is endless and you are only held by your imagination and your interests.

There are no prerequisites to becoming a Coach. However, there are some MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

We do not indulge in “course padding”, i.e., adding irrelevant lectures and/or “seminars” that sound good on a website or in a brochure, but do not add any value either to the program or to your coaching practice. An ICF accredited program is considered the "Gold Standard" in coach training! We include the eight Core Coaching Competencies as defined by the ICF. There is no justification for charging astronomical fees.
With this in mind, we offer condensed accredited coach training aimed to serve you better, faster, and for less money than any other training program of comparable quality. Charging higher tuition prices to keep students in training longer than necessary is not conducive to fair practice.
A refund (less any PayPal/bank/other transaction fee), less a non-refundable enrolment charge of $100.00 is granted ONLY in the event that the student withdraws before signing and returning training agreement.
No refund of tuition is granted to a student who voluntarily withdraws from the program. Upon withdrawal, all outstanding tuition, if any, is due and payable immediately.
No refund of tuition is granted should a teleclass day/time be rescheduled due to the unavailability of a qualified trainer or if there are an insufficient number of attendees for the time-slot.

While at first glance, it may first seem that a traditional class where the student physically drives to his/her class location might have more value, in the case of Life Coaching, a virtual class is much better. Why? When you start a coaching practice, over 95% of it will be done virtually – over the phone or Skype. So it is critical to get used to this format.

The Life Coach Certification Group™ believes strongly that everyone’s style of learning is different. This primary belief is why we have our programs available in a format suitable to most individuals. As our student, you receive your training through convenient, relaxed, interactive classes on Zoom. Our morning and evening classes are easily worked into most individual's schedules, even those working full time.
Yes. As our student you are never alone! Students can contact our support team at any time should there be any questions, whatsoever. We offer complete support to all our students!
We also have a Help Desk that you can use for day to day support issues and questions.
We also host a monthly "Coffee Hour LIVE" to give students with questions the opportunity to speak with the training staff.
Our purpose is not so much as to ‘grade you’ as it is to provide you with the right tools and the knowledge of how to use them correctly. That said, students must complete and submit several Achievement Challenges for evaluation. Should these fall short of expectation, students may re-submit with no penalty. A final quiz (for the CLC program only) is to be completed. Students must receive 80% or better to pass the quiz. Student’s who fail to receive 80% or better on the quiz will be invited to an oral interview at a cost of $150.00 USD.
The oral interview will provide us the opportunity to better explore what you have learned throughout the program via relaxed discussion. In this way, students are provided the opportunity to express their knowledge in a manner that is likely to be more successful than through written quiz. Our desire is to assist every student of coaching to graduate and receive international coach certification.
Absolutely not. We firmly believe that the face of coaching is an ever-evolving profession. We will introduce you to a coaching model that is powerful, yet easy to learn. With some dedication to practice, you can expand your personal coaching model to include alternative methods.
Your course includes everything you need to successfully complete your coach certification. Tuition includes all course materials, notes, supplemental reading and resources. Tuition fees include all taxes with the exception of some individuals who reside within Canada.
No longer are potential clients and employers asking only if a coach has been certified, they are also inquiring if a coach is aligned with an organization that upholds a professional “Code of Standards and Ethics.” For most companies and organizations who would hire a coach, this is mandated.
International Coach Certification is awarded to our graduates through the Certified Coaches Alliance (CCA), who actively maintains the International Coach Certification of our graduates. In existence since 2004, the CCA is well respected Internationally for their professional standards and profile. A coach’s alignment to a body that provides a cohesive “Code of Standards and Ethics” is imperative to the success of any coach within today’s marketplace.
The cost of CCA affiliation upon graduation is only $54.00 USD for each 2-years per each certification that the graduate chooses to hold. Graduates who choose to move through the ICF Personal Credentialing process also affiliate with the CCA as the processing time to receiving personal credentialling through the ICF is six-to-eight months or longer.
Yes. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates move through the affiliation process with the Certified Coaches Alliance (CCA), thereby agreeing to adhere to a Code of Professional Ethics and Standards by integrating these values into their work, and to keep their coaching certification active.
This act is essential to you receiving a designation of choice. Should you decide to persue ICF Personal Credentialing, your original designation of choice would no longer apply unless you continue with your CCA affilaition.
